Group C roles include positions like Junior Clerk, Ticket Collector, and Commercial Apprentice. Group D roles are generally maintenance and support positions such as Trackman, Helper, and Porter. These jobs typically require qualifications ranging from 10th pass to 12th pass.
  2. NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories): NTPC jobs encompass roles such as Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Goods Guard, and Station Master. These positions are crucial for the smooth operation of the railways and usually require candidates to have at least a 12th pass qualification or a degree.
  3. Junior Engineer (JE): Junior Engineer positions are technical roles that require candidates to have a diploma or degree in engineering. JEs are responsible for overseeing various technical aspects of railway operations, including the maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.
  4. RPF (Railway Protection Force) and RPSF (Railway Protection Special Force): These roles are ideal for candidates interested in ensuring the safety and security of railway passengers and property. Positions in these forces typically require a 10th or 12th pass qualification, along with physical fitness.
  5. Act Apprentices: This category is perfect for ITI-qualified candidates. Apprenticeships in the railways offer hands-on training in various trades and are an excellent way to start a career in this sector.
  6. Technician and Level 1 & 2 Posts: Technician roles require ITI or diploma qualifications and involve working on the technical aspects of railway operations. Level 1 and 2 jobs cover a wide range of responsibilities, from manual labor to skilled work, depending on the specific requirements of the position.
